Blink is great, though personally I prefer the Human Nature two parter, that's fantastic. I think that might be my favourite 'New Who' story. I think it's a great showcase for Tennants acting too, playing two quite different characters.
Doctor Who... Page 332
Rather annoyingly Matt I haven't seen Human Nature. I'll have to wait for it to come round like I did with blink.
I wasn't criticising Who for lack of realism BTW, Sooty - surely the ultimate in futility, I was rather criticisng the ridiculous PC casting manoeuvre. It was actually offensive.
After looking on doctorwhoforum it seems Matt Smith's been spotted on-set wearing Tennant's brown pin-striped suit, well, under a robe.

Well, I suppose he will do for the intial part of his first story. Beofre he decides a bow tie is a good look.

And I was just taking the oportunity to offer my view that DaveyC has; no pubes, no genitals and no soul.
Who's Davey C?
Call me Dave Cameron; the amoral, souless, sexually ambiguos face of how everything is going to get worse.
The stork sent to punish us foolish frogs, by the angry Zeus God of democracy.
The grinning shop windown manequin of c**tishness, like an Auton grown from polyester and excrement.
The reason that everything is terrible and will get worst.
The spilt seed of a frenzied wank by a thousand demon maniacs in the innocent expectant face of this country.
A totally, appalling abhorent fetid, goats testicle of an excuse for a subhuman being.
He is the smelly Subway sandwich eaten on a crowded tube, the noise of R'nB playing on a cheap Nokia, the uncleaned excrement in a public toilet.
He is David Cameron.

He can count on your vote then?
I think his views on University top ups are unrealistic and populist.

Beautiful.
Co-incidentally I watched the second ever episode of Columbo tonight, Sooty. It was pretty good.
Damn I read all this for nothing. I thought some news on Doctor who blew up while I was away but instead I got to read about some politician who has waxed coin purse.

And I got to read the most beautiful term for a eunuchs bits ever.
Getting back on topic then.
Quote: Curt @ September 22 2009, 4:24 PM BSTI don't know if anyone has posted this yet. But some pics of the 11th Doctor have been posted of him onset and in his new duds.
The introduction of a new Doctor used to be a lot more fun for me, as I was never expecting it. Of course, this was in the days before the internet and media hype (well, even if the Australian media did get excited about a new actor being cast as Doctor Who, I never heard such news). From Jon Pertwee to Tom Baker to Peter Davison to Colin Baker, each regeneration was an unexpected shock. And even when Christopher Ecclestone changed into David Tennant, I hadn't been expecting that, as I was living in Singapore at the time and a friend sent me the DVDs of the first series of 'new Who' without warning that Ecclestone only stays for the single series. Now I just feel like - bugger off already Tennant and let's hope the new bloke's better.

Tennant has been ace.

But his days are numbered, so now it's just a waiting game for Matt Smith to appear. Tennant's not as good as Ecclestone. Much better than Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy though. But just not genuinely seriously eccentric. Too eager and trying too hard to display Time Lord gravitas. Could be just his voice and the giddly-boo emotional guff of some scripts that put me off. Mostly I enjoyed watching him, mostly.
