Yes it was made on iweb, and yes the amateurishness is intentional, as It's meant to be made by Dave himself. It's difficult when doing this with how naff you decide to make it, I hope I haven't gone too naff, and it works ok, it has a general feel to it, and I've tried to keep the branding of the colour scheme and stuff, but overall it has a very simple layout. So I hope I got the mix right
Dave Granger has his own website Page 2
It's very good, Mat. You have the balance of it looking amateurish but not garish just right.
Great stuff Mat, I especially enjoyed the Q&A page.
I've never looked at it, but html isn't hard to learn is it.
But 'Drag n Drop' is easier.
No it isn't.
Who's Suzie Cocktail then?
That's terrible.
If I am honest I rarely see stuff on this site that I think has real genuine comedic promise. This has and the reason for it is that you have a good comic persona.
It's obviously not 100% there yet else you'd have a prime time slot on Channel 4 or BB2 but what differentiates you from many is that you don't seem to be trying too hard. This is a failing of so many young wannabee comics.
Excellent , Keep it up.
PS : I don't give praise out too often
Thank you Norman, what a lovely thing to say. and yeah, we are slowly building the character, and I think it's getting better as it goes on. We shot some new stuff on sunday, a longer 9 minute episode, not sure when we will be putting that online, but I think it's the strongest and tightest thing we have done with the character, but anyway I digress, thanks for your kind words
Norman's right. Two minute slots on BBC2 Comedy Zone would do the trick here.
The site looks bad (in a good way )
Loved the Q&A, did make me laugh some
Also enjoyed the two new vid's, very nice, shall keep an eye out for more.

Wow. Erm...
Wow.
As for Dave Granger, I've said before, the guy playing him is fab IMO and has a great future. The offscreen whispering guy annoys me to distraction though. But I've said this before and others haven't agreed so what do I know?
I still think you should make more of Dave's splitup with his girlfriend. It worked for Paul Calf with Julie, and fleshed-out his character. It does the same for Dave, in the sketches that mention her.
In my opinion.

I disagree. I think the off screen whispering guy adds a lot to the sketches.
