I seem to have an allergic reaction to Lush shops; the smells give me headaches and make me feel a bit sick.
I mainly use lush stuff so you are probably allergic to me!

Do you smell like a florist's shop then, Roo?

My daughter loves it there and buys me stuff. Most of it I can use - it's just all a bit over-powering in the shop.

Lush smells like sweeties.

Poor you! Mind you I suppose enclosed in a shop it's a bit much.

Same here.

Given my luck with guys, I'm amazed it hasn't happened more...
I've just won the £50 jackpot on the fruit machine \O/
Who wants to buy me a congratulatory drink?

I do like to smell nice!
As I use porridge soap and strawberry shower gel, I probably smell like breakfast.

Nom nom nom. Can't wait for the Christmas stock to come out so I can hoard stuff. I also hope they bring ghost out again this halloween.

Places like Lush and the Body Shop are no go areas for me - especially at Christmas time. I feel like a Black South African finally getting to use the 'Whites Only' bathroom.
I know I have every right to be in there, by the intimidation factor from stressed out female shoppers is quite daunting. I know in their fem-brains they're thinking -
'What's he doing in here?'
'He does not belong here.'
'We own this land manchild - now flee before we eat your penis!'
Now I know how women feel when they take their car into the garage and the greasy mechanics are on eye roll and tisk overload.

We're really not. We might be checking you out and be pleased you bother (if you're buying mens stuff) or just think you've got a girlfriend, mum, granny to shop for. Or you're gay. Mr Dagger always gets chatted up when he's buying me undies.
Glad it's not just me that feels intimidated in such places. I feel immeditately ill-at-ease just going gift shopping in The Body Shop. The female assistants always seem to immediately approach you if you're a bloke. I don't know if they think we're going to spread manly farts around their lovely shop or piss all over the bath bombs or something?
No, they are trying to find out if you're single, gay, or about to have a panic attack.
