The Radio 4 Commissioning Round Page 4

I thought he pretty much carried the film beautifully. One of his best performances.

I went to see the film when it came out. My friend brought some minty, chocolate biscuit things her mum had made that were gorgeous and I can always taste them when that film is mentioned.

Woody Allen said marriage is the death of hope. And also...

'How wrong Emily Dickinson was! Hope is not "the thing with feathers". The thing with feathers has turned to be my nephew. I must take him to a specialist in Zurich.'

And good luck to Mark also with the radio. I myself am waiting to hear back on a radio script project from an exciting new producer who is making waves on the south coast of England from her home in London which is throwing a pebble a very long way if you ask me!

:)

She sounds super-talented and rather wonderful. Laughing out loud

I imagine Radio won't have her for long, TV will be snapping at her high heels, there aren't enough women producing or script editing in TV.

:)

But enough about your blossoming career as a pimp, Matthew...

Half of it is a humourous observation and half of it isn't!

Right. Which half is which? ;)

The good bits are real.

The funny bit was the humourous half. :)

Ah...

Actually I might have a stab at a radio sitcom sounds like fun. I never listen to enough of them mind, keep forgetting.

I've never been that into radio comedy to have a good grasp on radio sitcom.
