She had a stomach bug but seems to be over that, it's just the fact she is weak from hunger but she has got to a point that food makes her feed sick. The only thing we can do is get her to eat.

Aw, but she'll start when she's ready. The egg thing is new to me too, but then so is a dog that's so poorly it won't eat!

Well the vet said that the stomach bug was over and what was making her ill was the fact that she had got to a point where she was so hungry, she felt sick so she wouldn't eat and it is a bit of a catch 22. She needs to eat in order to get better because she has probably lost a lot of protein and salt but she won't eat because it makes her feel sick so they said to soft boil an egg, mush it up with some salt, and force feed her the mush. It seems to have worked, she has stopped shaking and while at first she resisted, she did end up allowing me to feed her the egg.

Our vet is a bit bonkers but very good.

Ah, I've had to do the plain fish or white meat and rice thing with poorly dogs before, but never that.

How old is she?

I think it's probably an old fashion thing but I can see the sense behind it. Dogs need a lot of salt and protein and eggs are a good source plus it's easier to feed her that than anything else. Salt is a bugger for us because she will not allow me to put a sulphur block in her water bowl.

I was looking at something else and walked, sideways, into it squishing my arm. At a fair pace to which is why it hurt so much. The wall is just above waist height on me, so I don't feel a complete div.

Just 90%. :D

Arm - ow, pride owwwwww! :D

Six. And a brat.

She wouldn't have chewed the rice or meat. It was a case on getting her jaw open, spooning it in, and stroking her throat to get her to swallow!

Our vet was bonkers too. She ended up topping herself with horse tranquilisers. :S

Was Julia bending over to pick up a pencil or something?

I've always had dogs. They get on really well. My previous dogs would have killed a cat in minutes, but this dog is a big softie. I also have guinea pigs and goldfish. Hopefully ponies next. Or a panda.
