I just finished watching the new episode of Family Guy. Good stuff!

My favourite alternate reality was...I don't know, can't decide. Loved the Cleveland Show. The chubby son is a hoot. :)

I saw the leaked pilot a few weeks ago and I'm not sure if it's the same episode. I working from downloads here since I still haven't mounted the antenna after the last homeowners association witch hunt.

Do you live in Salem?

As a rule, Americans call American football "football." Your version is called "soccer."

Why do you call it football though? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of foot-to-ball action. Maybe Throwball. Or Runcarryingball.

It was derived from rugby and I don't recall seeing any rugs in use. ;)

There's a lot of foot-to-ball action in every game. As a matter of fact, all the NFL scoring leaders are/were kickers.

Actually Rugby was derived from Rugby School. A football player picked up the ball one day and ran with it... etc etc etc. It is rumoured to be someone called William Ellis (Gawd Bless Him) but there is no proof.

Yes, but what pervy bugger decided 'touch' rugby was better?

Be thankful his initial idea, Grope Rugby, was turned down.

I hear they still play Bum Rugby in many public schools.

That said, Family Guy, the Cleveland Show, and American Dad were great!

Kind of seems a bit much that this guy now has three shows on. Basically with the same tone and humour too. (Haven't seen Cleveland mind you, so maybe he's gone in a whole new direction.)

It's really more of the same, but Seth's very good at that. I look forward to more episodes. I give him credit for making shows with "stick-to-itive-ness."

Oh, I do like his shows, it just sort of feels, I don't know; unfair? Or something?! He's got three shows, give one of his slots to some other comedy! Seth can spare it! :D

Well, King of the Hill had the Cleveland spot and it limped along there for quite some time. The ratings weren't great, but nobody had the heart to can it.

My toe still hurts from stubbing it on saturday night/sunday morning and I'm convinced it's fractured.
