Could be my age but I didn't laugh once. He's a pleasant enough guy but from the audience constantly reacting ( applause and laughter at every utterance) as though he'd told the funniest joke in the world I thought it was another case of The Emperors new clothes.

I'm 108 by the way so speak up!

"It's weird how people say 'I like children'. Because that's the same as saying 'I like people ...for a while...How old are you? 17? Get out of here'. It's also weird how it's cool to say 'I like children' but not cool to be specific. You can't say 'I like 8 years olds' ... That's not cool."

That rocks

And his material on thank yous

Laughing out loud He's got some great material.

I was walking in the park and this guy waved at me. Then he said, "I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else." I said, "I am."

I love him Lovey....

He was on Season 1 of Flight of the Conchords and I didn't even realize it right away. Yes, he's very funny.

Can't wait to see his Woodstock movie. :)

I only caught the first 15 minutes of this, but I thought he was pretty good. The audience seemed to over-react at a few bits though.

He is dreamy, and such a fine head of hair.

I bet that dude could grow a mean stash too. He's got a permanent 12 o'clock shadow.

Are you talking about me?

oo, I've got a live recording of his, there are some corkers on there. I especially like his take on how digital cameras make us nostalgic for things that happened seconds ago - 'we were so young!' I've tried to get a few mates into him but not yielded many results yet.

Funnily enough I watched that episode of FotC that he was in..I've only ever seen one picture of him and that was the painting on the cover of the album, but I recognised him straight away. I think it was the haircut. 'gay beatle'

:D I envy your facial hair growing capabilities too Ben.
Anyone ever see his stand up though? I found it got tiresome half way through. I think his show works better since its small tosses.

What are you talking about? I've never done stand up...

I found it magical and love his sense of structure. His HBO special was amazing - the sketchpad and musical segments as well as the non-stop one liners.
And If I took my breath away - especially the "useless skills". Even his CD did wonders for me.

Dunno he really does it for me as a performer and I always find myself wanting more.
