You can stand up on stage to make people laugh but you can't approach a girl!
Your first line, Danny, could be I use 'Pantene'...and you?'

Christian labooty on wellie or something..
Well wellies alot of the time. I have a dog to walk.
I can remember (before my married days) being out with friends and having someone come over and it was painfully obvious he wanted to chat us up but didn't know how to do so. I had a guy come over to me once with a drink for me in hand and sit there and stare at me, like a deer in the headlights, not saying anything for what seemed like forever, only to ask me for the time. I proceeded to point to the massive 24" diameter clock over the bar where I was sitting and said, "It's 10:30." He said "Thanks," and scampered off. He did get the drink exactly right though.

Oh, I used to have pity snogs with anyone I thought was really shy.

Like Danny, I'm like that with women. I can really like a girl but I won't do anything to try and chat her up I'll just try to be nice and see how it goes, fortunatly I have a lot of friends of friends who are girls, to which I found my girlfriend
Quote: Scottidog @ September 26 2009, 3:58 PM BSTI think men are intimidated by women. They see the friends, the shoes, the hair and make up...and feel threatened.
But let's face it, they shit too.
True, but you are going to get into a lot of trouble trying to pull in the Ladies.

What about shy people with condoms?
Dolly you sound like a crazy cat!

I'm not Timbo.
I have been with one for 6 years now. Believe me, her shit stinks! I would never have thought that when I met her...
I've met all my girlfriends (and the ex-wife) in the workplace. Now that my on-again, off-again girlfriend appears to be off-again for good, I'm worried about my future prospects because I work in a 2-man office. I'm hoping that the cute neighborhood wives I've begun socializing with will have a lot of cute, single, female friends.

I would think about getting a horse and some camping gear if I was you DaButt...
It took me two months to pluck up the courage to ask my ex- out on a date. Two months of painful, love-sick terror on a daily basis.

Best of luck with that.

Did this relationship end because it also took you two months to do other things Tim?

The neighbors and I were discussing a camping trip last night. The weather is finally getting cool enough to make it feasible.

Actually no. Within three months of our first date she was pregnant with twins.

No way, that is some fast moves.
