At least she didn't try to deny it though!
Not that that's at all what I think Ruby's doing, but I think a lot do (just my opinion).
I am the exception!

Never a truer word was spoken.
Is that good or bad?
I think, and I am sure this is the same point as everyone has said but put slightly differently, like my friend, some girls know they SHOULD like nice guys, and WANT to like nice guys but ultimatly find themselves ATTRACTED to 'cavemen' as Ian put it.
Anyway am off to see if I can pretend I have a social life for the evening.

Need you ask?
I'm confused by the whole matter to be honest.
I obviously don't know about all this stuff....are people so f**ked up and/or predictable?

Spot on! Absolutely what I think!

I mean it very generally. It's not something I've plucked out of thin air, but it is just my opinion.

I didn't mean your point neccessarily, just the whole subject! I haven't had much experience (or not lately) I suppose and then never went in for games - just prefer everything to be more direct and less dramatic.
All women love attention- they cannot deny that.
Women who don't tend to get attention love chat up lines, women who have alot of attention hate them, believing they are looking for some original smooth talker to ask them something like 'i love your shoes'. Bingo...

I like anyone to say they like my shoes, male or female.
Some of us are just too terrified to try any form of "chatting up". Fear of rejection overwhelms us. Pathetic, but probably not that rare amongst us blokes.

I could imagine you have lovely shoes Mrs Dagger...
Christian labooty on wellie or something..

Hell yeah... that's like my life.

It's a skill to act as if you are confident. I've been turned down in the past and just thought it was their loss!
But sometimes you'd be surprised, Mr Dagger thought I'd never like him in a million years and therefore wouldn't approach me despite some heavy hints. But there again I am pretty scary.
I think men are intimidated by women. They see the friends, the shoes, the hair and make up...and feel threatened.
But let's face it, they shit too.
