Ukranian. She talks like that in real life.

Really? I watched it thinking she's the most attractive girl mark and/or Jeremy have attempted to 'whoo' but I wondered why they made the character Russian since the accent sounded fake. :$

I don't think they did make the character Russian. I don't recall there being any clarification of her origin, other than "Russia or one of those other made up countries". I.e. anywhere in Eastern Europe. Or am I forgetting some exchange?

For some reason I thought she was Russian, though I don't remember them mentioning it. She looks Russian.

Nope, I don't think there was any mention of exactly where she came from. (And as for having a "fake"-sounding "Russian" accent. How many real Russian accents does one actually hear in the UK? Anyway, as Dolly said, the actress is Ukranian and that is apparently how she speaks in real life, Bam. :))

I just said Russian because that's the only placename Jeremy mentioned. I could have named all the other possible nationalities in the world but I was going for brevity. :)

I wasn't correcting you, zooo. :P

None in the UK, but tons on the internet. Huh? I've said to much. Errr

The only Eastern European accents I hear on TV are from female English actors in comedies.

Sound good to me though!

I think my idea of a 'Russian' or Eastern Europian accent comes from Alan Partridges girlfriend.

Yeah, nice one Derren Brown. Try and use your powers for good and shit.

Scoff all you like, Mr Carpark. But just do me one favour - go and have a good rummage through your chest-of-drawers... there I think you'll find an odd sock, an out-of-date condom and an expired warranty card for an electrical appliance... Am I right? Pleased

(Come back to this thread on Friday and I'll reveal how I did it.)

They didn't seem to fully develop the dips scene. The show starts with Jez buying catfood, but that was the last we heard of it... I got the feeling that was intended to lead somewhere. Then when all the dips were offered, and the camera pans down to show a variety of dips and a couple of sample pots, they didn't attempt a particularly strong laugh about sperm and Tzatziki. Maybe those bits failed to make the edit.

This was a brilliant episode. Who knew you could get so much comedy material out of a boiler. It's was good to see Mark getting his hopes up for that brief moment before he was brought back down to Earth again.

Brilliant episode.

Best bits:
"You idiot, Gerard. Friday comes before Saturday!"
"Hi, I'm Jez. How's it hangling?"
"Jeremy, some children want to have lunch with you"
"Why the f**k did you say it was your baby? Did you get mixed up?"
"Yeah, I dabble. Like Da Vinci dabbled. In ART!"
and Mark's face when he's 'forking' the bag

The UK has the largest Russian population outside of Russia. So probably quite a lot.

I have the feeling that Bain or Armstrong had heating problems in the past year. :D

I liked it.

But stop mentioning White Dwarf you over talented wankers!

I was vaguely thinking of updating my script about gamer geeks and it now looks as fresh as Jordan's minge.
