It was utterly marvellous. I was alternating between squirming with embarrassment and laughing like a drain.
Superb episode. Great writing, beautifully played. Loved the idea of Mark having that very brief moment of total inner calm and contentment.
(Though worryingly I often share Jeremy's views about anthropomorphising inanimate objects such as boilers and thermostats - I too think setting them a "challenge" will somehow make them work faster.)
One of the best episodes of Peep Show in years. Fantastic stuff.

Agreed. Episode one was solid if unspectacular (by Peep Show standards) but tonight's was certainly up there with the best.
