Only just seen this thread. I wish I could've helped! Oh well. Hope it went OK.
That was fast, T.

Yeah, I know...the wife is ALWAYS complaining about that. She wasn't even around on this occasion.
Lemon. Too soon!
Welcome back Tuumble!
For the record I did my first stand up this month - a rather grim presentation on social networking in front of 120 people at an Internet conference. Not comedy in anyway shape or form. Video exists but not for technophobes or the easily bored.
I also did another of our magazines (also not technophobes) which kept up me up until past 3:00am six nights in a row to meet the print deadline...which I did.
The next week I got a holiday at the wife's relations in Kent which had the benefit EXTRAORDINARY hospitality (I was never without food or beer for four days) and regular dips in the family pool. Bliss indeed. The kids even got to drive in the dumper and digger that they have at their place (a former farm, now their own business centre).

That sounds like many new open spots I've seen.
Welcome back by the way.
\o/ Wooop!
Oh bugger! I've done it again.
Looks like I've got to write off the rest of September and October too now.
Here is my to-do list until Halloween...
1. Design a 12 page company newsletter/magazine
2. Design an 8 page company information leaflet
3. Prepare for our company's 15th birthday presentation event
4. Have my quarterly review
5. Go to Lisbon, Portugal on business - I will be away for three days
6. Study for a Chartered Institute of Marketing course (two modules - exams first week in December)
7. Go on a long-standing weekend away with my wife to Gloucestershire
...and the backdrop to all this? WE'RE MOVING HOUSE!
Don't envy yours much.
Oh, and we have the car to put through its MOT on Friday - it looks like a fail.
!
I know that doesn't help much, but it's basically all I can offer.
Car failed the MOT - it's looking like about £450 to put it right when it's worth less than £800. We've already had to replace all the tyres at a cost of £148.
Looks like we may have to swallow the cost this time and get through to Spring and replace the car then.
I may take the lift up to the top floor of this office and see how fast I can reach the ground afterwards. I'm a bit stressed as you can tell.
Good for you bud! See you then. All the best.
