Because it's the seventh version of this Windows generation.

So it's Sylvester McCoy.

Seriously though. Can anyone find this video on the Microsoft website, or through another legitimate Microsoft source? I see they really are planning on holiding lauch parties, but the video's failure to feature any Windows screenshots or Microsoft iconography are making me somewhat suspicious that it's legitimate at all.

Microsoft do a lot of in-house training and promotional videos for staff. This one might have been leaked.

Why's it being called Windows 7, BTW? Will it be like Blake's 7

Yes, in that they're both loads of old tosh that you want as far out into space from you as is physically possible.

(Although I still don't believe it's meant to be taken seriously!)

Mac users don't have time for parties, do they? They're too busy doing creative things on their glorified Fisher Price activity centres. Like writing their "novel" (still).

Thank you Family guy:

GUY: Hey I'm sitting here writing my novel in the coffee shop where everyone can see me!

GUY2: Hey me too!

GUY: I might write about that!

GUY2: Cool can I watch!?

You're one of the Coordinators aren't you?

Quote: Leevil @ September 24 2009, 4:32 PM BST

There's a deleted scene where we see the host calling technical support, but it was too long so they had to cut it.

The video was meant to be another 10 minutes but it's just a BSOD

If it wasn't for this, I would be applying, yes: "This event is no longer accepting host applications."

Hey, I love the USA, but things like this really doesn't do them any favours. I put this video on the same level as new card ranges. Recently I saw that you could get going back to school cards and many other inane reasons to celebrate, I'm not against having little or no reason to party, but to stamp it as 'official' is just ... pah, I don't know what?

The fact that this video exists doesn't surprise, what does surprise me however is that Aaron didn't edit the title of thread.

Remember the street parties in the 1950s, to celebrate the young Princess Elizabeth's upgrade to Windows '53? All us kids were given a clockwork memory stick. Happy days! :)

How old are you!!! :O

Sorry just read your post properly.

One of Windows 7's little known features which I like to perform is to thread my penis into one of the USB ports. Then type the address of your favourite comedy website into any available search engine and press enter. Now if you all pop your disc players it should have arrived by now. And no its not shrunk, that's it's actual size.
