I wouldn't exactly call that dating. On the plus side, I didn't need a chat up line, she was quite forward and matter of fact.

Besides, it's an old adage but a true one 'Men chase women until they catch us'. You can normally tell where things are going early on by body language alone. When a girl fancies a guy, there is a huge amount of touching going on, usually initiated by the female. The guy thinks he's doing the pulling, but he's not.

All of the stare based discussion last night appears to have given me the biggest stare complex ever. I began worrying today whether my staring and eye contact particualry to a girl at work who I reckon is minorly obsessed with me, was inappropriate and liable to make the girl feel uncomfortable.

I kind of hinted at that last night. It's the flip side of the coin isn't it, putting you in that uncomfortable position of not knowing where the hell to look.

All depends Ronnie, were you rubbing your massive stonk on through your trousers whilst staring at her?

I know for a fact that women don't like that - no matter how many times I'm pervy men are warned.

It's okay to stare if you have headphones on - just pretend to look lost in the music and occasionally nod along to a beat to keep up the pretense.

If a woman stares at me I really like it, I just can't imagine getting annoyed about it. But hey ho.

I dunno... (although he apparently looks like my dad when he was young )

Well, I was kind of trying to say that if you're in a public place then surely there's not THAT much danger that they're suddenly going to attack you?
