Sounds a bit dodgy. Or very out of date.

Oh, is it like a burger van type thing?
I can't help but think this thread is going to end up in a bloody Jason Manford routine, or something. 'Eeh, do you remember spangles!' etc.

Not quite, describing it, it does sound horrible, it's a large transit van, you step on the back and it's like a little station he works at...
It's honestly not as bad as it sounds.

Quote: Moonstone @ September 23 2009, 12:59 PM BSTOhhhhh, spot on! At last, someone in the universe who knows what this is! Did you ever have it with mint custard, Nil? Now THAT was good.
Nope, always pink. I've never seen/had mint custard.

Well you've kind of only 'half' lived then
Pink is also good though - the concrete is the main thing, just the texture of it *slurps*

I found the recipe but have yet to make any.
Chocolate Concrete.
4oz plain flour
4oz SR flour
4oz granulated sugar
4oz marg
1oz cocoa
1 egg
Mix flour, cocoa and sugar. Melt marg in saucepan. Gently beat egg in a bowl. Mix all ingredients together. Place in greased baking tin. Flatten, mark with fork, lightly brush with cold water and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake for 30 mins on 180.
I'll give it a go at the weekend!

That seems fairly easy actually. Thing is though I'm just willing to bet, though it'll be nice, it won't taste anywhere near as good as the school version. Damn worth a try though.

DAMN no! I ain't one of them religions!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, baaaaaaaacon!
Actually - bacon CAKES??? Ermm, yum?
It's not actaully a cake! It's just a name because of the fact it's doughy and the shape. It's basically a doughy triangle of cheese, ketchup, and bacon.
