Judges have also been known to give light sentences for terrible crimes, let crimimals off due to concerns of overcrowding prisons, and even give suspended sentences after someone has been found guilty or such crimes as murder and child abuse.

I understand your arguement but my point is just because a judge has said so, doesn't make it right. Rulings get overturned for being biased and unfair everyday.

I'm not saying we should think this makes it right. I'm saying that some people, notably the judges, do actually think it's right, etc.

Ahhh gotcha!

Pale is lovely. Does anyone agree that pale skin is far more beautiful than tanned? Pale skin, dark hair and bright lipstick is a combo that made Anna on Hotel Babylon so feckin booodiful.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

But, BUT, no-one here is going to agree with the Judges, so the whole debate will be basically "yeah, the bastards!", and over..!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Well then it makes no sense not to fancy Anna Unimpressed

Ohhhh, I get it....zooo and that! Whistling nnocently

I was chatted up by a guy in Morocco who came over to me and said 'Hi, I'm Tarzan' .... That's all, he really was called Tarzan.

But I'm suggesting that the attitude that women dress provocatively to attract men, might be the thin end of the wedge, which leads to the judges making these rulings, and their rulings really do impact on people, regardless of whether or not we agree with them.

But you're right, the debate is over, because I've repeated myself several times now and have nothing further to add.

If say, you're like Chipolata and get turned on by someone with a big nose or a false leg

Laughing out loud

Hmm, good point. I can remember that happening once, and getting a lot of press attention (rightly so of course). But do you really feel it might happen again? I think the whole judicial system sucks on many levels to be honest.

I agree with your point. That's why I think it's dangerous to believe a woman is out of order to complain if she's looked at in a way she doesn't like. I think it's also imortant to point out to men that many women aren't flattered or after this sort of attention, as it seems that some don't seem to notice this.

I was attacked walking home (attempted rape) when I was 15. I didn't go to the police because I was wearing a leather mini skirt (with DMs might I add) and I honestly felt I would be told it was my own fault, because of such attitudes.

It happens all the time! And what is the defintion of 'provocative' anyway? It seems like the Islamic way of thinking about modesty (for women) and dress.

Well this went quickly from worst chat up lines to rape - I wonder if there is a correlation?

Is staring at a ladies bewbies rape? I wouldn't know, I'm too busy staring at their bottoms and shouting 'nice ass baby, I'd like to wear it as a hat in three states! Yeeha!' women love that, it's so flattering.

Right, I'm off to stare at Dolly's avatar now just to wind her up. (Mmm, I wonder what she'd look like with a frying pan in one hand and a vacuum cleaner in the other? Phwoar.)

Unfortunately, you might well have been correct. In the news item below, the rapists were given very lenient sentences due to what the girl was wearing; even though she was only TEN years old! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6237480.stm

And since only 6 percent of reported rapes in England and Wales lead to a conviction anyway, your chances would have been pretty slim at the best of times.

I'd avoid him, sounds like a 'cheetah'. Geddit?! Geddit?!

I remember that story; so sad and incredible. But maybe not so given some attitudes that still exist. :(
