OCD VD DOC Page 2

How many doctors do you know who kill germs on their hands with a mallet?

None! :D

But then I don't know any STD clinic specialists with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, so - you know - gimme some artistic license!

Actually though, you're probably right there. The mallet is wrong - maybe just leave it with the Brillo pad. Cheers Jez

I liked it. I don't think the chair bit adds much to the funny but you obviously have your character development reasons.

Maybe in the background there could be a "Please wash your hands" sign which he's crossed out hands and put Cock.

Whatever Dr. Harris is, he's not OCD. His actions do not fit this disorder. Dr. Harris is not a character, he's an artificial contrivance whose sole purpose is to perform an unconnected series of sight gags which just happen to be set in a doctor's surgery. Steve is just his straight man.

There's a difference between reeling off a series of one-liners and telling a funny story. This sketch is closer to the former than the latter.

This does not mean the individual jokes aren't funny, but the sketch only works on this one, superficial, level.

Elementary dear Data!

I think it's silly and funny, and most importantly it has your voice.

IMHO a paper bag over the head will always be funnier than breathing apparatus.

Unless the breathing apparatus is being worn by an animal. That is the only exception to the rule.
