Can't remember, but I did. He's just a funny presence. Actually, the idea of this disaster area of a man for once trying to stop destruction is in itself quite funny.

In theory, but they didn't really make the point that well. But again, it's a small quibble. Great show, and I thought an improvement over the lacklustre fifth series.

Did Jez in that lift scene with Mark and the new neighbour remind anyone else of the charming scarecrow he played in 'That Mitchell & Webb Look' series 2?

I watched the full first season this month but it looks like no other seasons are available in Region 1.
Balls. Glad to see the show's still successful though.

Very much so. That part about being one with the universe or nature, really reminded me of the scarecrow's star speeches.

Were we meant to assume the fire alarm was a ruse to get everyone out the building and sack them? If so, why didn't any of the sacked employees realise this? (or am I missing something?

Yep. Although I don't think that we were meant to realise until they all got outside.

I just learned that last Friday's episode was the most watched episode of Peep Show ever. It was watched by 1.8 million people (9.2%), with a further 208,000 (1.8%) watching it on C4+1.

However, it was still beaten in the ratings by a repeat of QI, which was watched by 1.9 million (9.8%).

Mark working at a Mexican-themed restaurant, possibly with Jez, in a upcoming episode (it might be the next one) sounds a bit too 'Chucklevision' to me. I hope that's not where this show is heading.

Yes. That's exactly where it's heading. Eh?

johnny's found a new project!

How do we find out viewing figures. I really think this series will be a breakthrough.

BARB is the website which lists viewing figures. The news tends to be quickest though.

SPOILER:

Episode 4 story: Mark discovers that Jeremy's girlfriend Elena has a guilty secret. But should he tell him when Jez is clearly so happy? In addition to this, Alan Johnson offers Mark the chance to go into business with him. Mark, while reassuring himself that this is his dream offer, begins to see Johnson in a new light. Big Suze inadvertently brings Mark and Jeremy's problems to a head.

Also, ep 3 story is on Radio Times website.

I'm not sure we want to be offering 'spoilers' on this thread.

Quite; Peep Show Fan, please do not post spoilers. Episode synopses are readily available to people who wish to find them.

It's not a spoiler. It's the decription from the official website. And sorry, I didn't realise the ratings had already been shown. I was right about the mini breakthrough thought. Beaten by Q.I... People are wierd sometimes.

I didn't understand why the writers put Super Hans in there. No comedy resulted (did it?), nor did it further the plot.

The chicken nugget scene was one of the episode highlights...

I think the whole baby thing might end up being a ruse... Sophie pretending in order to twist them around her finger. Then again I can't even recall - was she showing at all in this latest episode?

And yes, the end of JLB sucks but there is endless comedic potential in unemployed mark/mark applying for jobs.

Edited by Aaron.

I think a ruse is likely too... but that would be really anticlimactic.
