BCG Meet up 2009 Page 84

Good to hear you're still with us, Ben. After you disappeared Mikey J seemed to suddenly appear from nowhere, with a guilty yet satisfied look on his face. I just assumed you had been his latest unfortunate murder victim.

Decided against the porn film in the end. £10.95 for a wank? My imagination is free, definitely dirtier and occasionally better scripted.

The last two men standing when I left were Mark and Kevin. It would be wrong to suggest that there was a homoerotic frission developing between them, but...

I usually just watch Sky News and pretend Chechnya is a heroin addicted porn starlet hiding her tears, whilst the Russian army is a viagra raddled guy with a 12 inch dong.

And no one mentioned the destructive habits of one attender...

Just wanted to add my thanks to DaButt for the drinks and say what a fantastically good night I had.

It was super groovy to meet everyone and I had a smashing time. I did get very drunk by the end, so hopefully I didn't piss anyone off.

Thanks to sootyj for giving me 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being' as my Pictionary subject - the drawing was meant to be a woman taking naked pictures of another woman in case you were wondering.

For those that couldn't make it, you missed a very good night, especially as London Fashion Week was happening next door and the pub was flooded with models.

A gigantically big thanks to Ellie for arranging everything.

Can't wait for the next meet up!

Very nice meeting you all and big cheers to DaButt.

You could have drawn a bear with a cross through it, a lightbulb and a human being but no you just kept miming taking pictures and boobies. We thought you were having a meltdown to be honest. ;)

Yes Bill and his manbag know how to make an entrance don't they? I hope you got the deposit back Ellie!

I made the worst exit though and I'm not sure if anyone saw so I'll explain in case you did as it would have looked quite odd, especially as I only drank water all night. I have M.E. and stayed out later than I should so I collapsed as soon as I got outside the pub. Not a great look. :$ Luckily the lovely HB was there to get me home. That's why I mostly sit at these things too - I'm not totally anti-social.

Anyhoo all that aside it was a great night and I echo the thanks to our sponsor DaButt and the organisers. It was lovely to meet more people from here and speak to Ruby although we couldn't hear a word you said Rubes!

Jx

Yeah, it was great to see everyone. :)

Oh no! I didn't see that. It's usually me that falls over for no good reason but impractical footwear.

Hey everyone,
Fell asleep on 3 busses on the way home after missing the last tube and angered my boyfriend when I got home, woke up fully dressed and basically feel awful today but....

I had a brilliant night last night. Was so good to see everyone and was so glad it worked out so well. Sorry Steve for drawing a moustache on your face... I can't stop laughing about it now but I hope it comes off okay. Great to see billwill managed to not knock more glasses off and that was seriously one of the best presentations about how to have babies I've ever given. Class game of sitcom pictionary too!

A mahoosive thank you to the very generous and lovely DaButt! I managed to make sure everyone got a drink or two and Aaron got some chips! Thank you!

XXXXXXX

Hello everyone, had a great time last night, really nice to meet some of you for the first time! Glad I finally came to one of these things. :)

Forgot to add a few things -

1. A big thank you to Ben, who raped me soon as came in the door. What a lovely and affectionate man he is.

2. How cute are Scats and PhQnix? I can see why so many people want to adopt them.

3. Ellie is hot stuff.

For those who didn't attend, you can console yourselves by knowing it cost £3.70 for a pint of Staropramen Lager. (I know, £3.70! You could buy a house for that up North.)

That and being blind and deaf. ;)

Great to meet everyone, either again, again again or for the first time. You are all lovely people, though some quite dangerous (mentioning no names... billwill).

Another big-up to DaButt for the drinks -- much appreciated. (Though if I had known KFC had been officially sanctioned, I would have started some sort of movement.)

Special thanks to Ells for organising and being a great hostess, Mark for 'bringing us all together' and Aaron for coming out into the real world for the evening. Cheers, chaps!

Dan

Whens the next one? I thought I would've been settled in my job by then but it's yet to start.

Or a medium-sized bank.

I am never ever ever ever going to drink again.. .but apart from that I really had fun last night and it was lovely meeting you all. Thanks Dolly for making sure I got home safely, big thank you to Ellie for arranging such a great night, another thanks to dabutt for his generousity and also thanks to everyone really who was there as you were all so nice.

Thanks everyone for talking to me. Wow! I heard some of you!

All I heard was vowels. "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" :D

Quote: Steve Sunshine @ September 20 2009, 2:01 AM BST

It was a great night, but one of the Moderators did draw a moustache on my face with permanent marker, but you expect that kind of thing don't you.

I don't want to talk about it anymore.

:$ Teary

:D You wore it well. *eats Pringles*

Quote: Tim Walker @ September 20 2009, 2:27 AM BST

Oh well, thank God this Holiday Inn is equipped with proper hardcore pornography.

Ours is rubbish softcore, with women that look like men. :(

:D I think Renegade may still be in the room.

Oh no. :( It was nice to meet you Jane (and everyone else) sorry I didn't chat to a few people, I'm not great in large groups and it was a bit overwhelming.

Sorry, we missed you both again. Maybe next time. :D

I had a great time, thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome. It was great to meet all of you there and put faces to names.
