10th Wedding Anniversary - how to celebrate? Page 4
Quote: Renegade Carpark @ September 17 2009, 6:33 PM BSTThat's what happens when you're dumb and shallow like me and put looks ahead of personality.
It's not just about looks or personality though, is it?
It's also to do with how loaded they are.

You'd have to be quite drunk to sleep with me.
Quote: Tuumble @ September 17 2009, 5:27 PM BSTIsn't it interesting that half the divorces come between 5 and 15 years of marriage (and we're slap bang in the middle). It's them pesky kids I tell ya -
I've heard that the kids tend to keep relationships together. Apparently, humans are hard-wired to split up within just a few years, if they have no kids. It makes sense, from a reproductive POV.

At five years the marriage will quite often have children which is a big adjustment in the early days. By 15 many will feel that they are at a stage where they can virtually look after themselves and able to cope with their parents break-up. That's a bit sweeping I know but I bet that's part of it.
I bet that if you broke down the figures between 5 and 15 there were be a dip in the middle where parents are staying together 'for the sake of the children'.
Quote: Tuumble @ September 17 2009, 1:16 PM BSTIt's tomorrow - how should I celebrate it when we've got next to nowt cash. Should I invite her along or should I go alone coz it's cheaper?
Move out.
(Sorry if someone has already said this; I haven't read the complete thread.)
Any updates Tuumble?
We had a very nice time thank you without the need for extreme sexual deviance.
We drove around all our old haunts including her flat, my old house, where we had our first date, the church, the venue for the reception and where we had our wedding night (Orton Hall - see below).

We then drove down to a restaurant we like (Brampton Mill - see below) for a special meal and then had some time in the evening while the kids were packed off to my sisters.

We spent more than was strictly necessary but it was our 10th and we'll muddle through somehow.
Looks cozy. Glad it all worked out.
Tuumble, what we really want to know is did you get any 'backdoor' action?

I hate the idea of proper skydiving but would love to try indoor sky diving!
Nope, I used the main entrance just like everybody else.

Indoor skydiving? Doesn't give you much time to pull the shoot before you hit the mall floor I'm guessing.
I wish I'd seen this thread before for suggestions
