I will have Elliot, and when we're trying to find places we generally just stumble on them, like the last meet we went to, and my uni thing yesterday. We will bring a flag you can all follow or something.

You and zooo could have a Top Gear style race.
If you are coming from Holborn, then you need to look out for the big Sainsburys across the road. Cross straight over the lights towards the Sainsburys and carry on straight so Sainsburys is on your left hand side.
A little further on, you will reach a fork in the road, take the right hand road.
Well, I suppose the Google maps do the job but it would be against my professional upbringing not to draw your attention to Transport for London's fantastic Journey Planner - http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/
You can also go direct to journey planners for walking at http://www.tfl.gov.uk/walking/ and for cycling at http://www.tfl.gov.uk/cycling/

I wasn't assuming it for the BCG meet, but thought people might be interested in general that it exists (while I was on).
I wanna see pictures! No, not of the meetup. Just dirty pictures. Grrr.

You must have some back pressure there big boy!
Apparently there are some tube issues, so please check TFL before you travel.
The joy of Public Transport

Christ, forgot about that. Every weekend, most of the public transport infrastructure of London is shut down to make things work for the Olympics.
I like that concept though, we as Londoners have to put up with the most crap and expensive service for decades. But as soon as we get the Olympics then it's like, 'ooh, we don't want to look bad in front of proper people' and they throw billions at the tubes, buses and trains.
Britain, putting the needs of foreigners first, again.
*This rant brought to you by the good folks at Dave's Caravans. From campers to static homes, if it's got wheels, a stove and you can poo in it, then think Dave's Caravans.

Alas, zooo is now unable to attend.
