I think that's to do with him defending accusations of perving over her.

Ah....being a cotton mill owner, I can dream.

Seems like it goes a bit beyond that to me, right through to actually ridiculing her for not being able to tell.

Well you could argue she was pretty thick, seeing as she posted the message with him being a friend.

Except you do just add people to facebook willy-nilly, and then forget they're there. Although it is stupid doing anything on the Intenet under your own name. Safety in anonymity.

!
That went round on work emails not long ago. Such a plonker that woman. The paper was saying that the boss is in trouble for dealing with that this way. Stupid employment laws.
A lot of places now do random myspace and facebook checks. A friend of mine recently got a new job and one of the things she had to sign was something declaring she would not bad mouth the company, her collegues, or customers on social network sites. It's becoming more common!

It should be common sense that you don't shit where you eat, so to speak.

Sometimes...
Ahem.

Unfortunately, the Government has legislated common sense and so it has failed to develop as a personal responsibility or internal process in a depressingly large proportion of the younger populus. What that legislation doesn't cover is where people tend to fall down. Like here.
Or something. My brain really isn't working today...
Anyone who uses Facebook alot... are you finding it really rubbish at the moment. With the red notification number staying up too long after you've clicked on it, and not being able to write on walls as the writing stays grey. Grrrr

I mainly use it to play scrabble with my agent's husband. I think he cheats with words I have never heard of

Nobody ever comments on my status so I never get notifications.
