(And it is just a pub, but we do actually have a proper reservation in a private ... bit, this time. (Or so Ellie says.) So she wouldn't necessarily be able to get to where everyone else is.)
Having said that, just turn up. 
I intend to be there...
Though as I said earlier, I'll be late, not getting there till 6 or 7pm
So that definitely makes room for anyone who wants to come early & leave early.
I'm still a 'Yes' and looking forward to it.
I think there should be some kind of remote link up to other parts of the country/ world so that everyone can join in. I'm sure Aaron could sort it out.

I'm not planning to get there until 7pm at the earliest as well. So just like bill will said, if it makes room for the 'day walkers', then they can attend, have their orange juices and polite conversations and leave before I turn up and ruin everything.

Awe.Some. I was going to go this year, but then didn't know what uni stuff there would be.

For those familiar with the area of the meet-up;
If I don't pre-book, would it be easy to get a room somewhere nearby for the night of the 'do'?
Should be no problem Geoff, as not only is tourist season over but London has only had a tiny amount of visitors over the last two years.
You're best bet is to look at something like lastminute.com and try to get a good deal.
Word of advice, spend less then £50 on a room and you'll probably end up in a DSS doss house full of drug addicts and asylum seekers. Remember, this is Britain, a two star hotel actually means no stars.
I appreciate your wisdom and ackowledge your advice RC.
Do you think I could find a decent Premier Inn/Travelodge that afternoon?

Fair point.
But if you are only after a crash pad (you'll be hob-nobbing with BCG greats most of the time) you could do worse than this at £33 for a single (shared bathroom):
It's well-located at any rate, and likely to be cleaner and safer than a scummy £50 a night fleapit (2 stars).

Probably the most likely for this would be the Royal near Russel Square. It has lots & lots of rooms, at typical low end London hotel prices.

If you Google "hotel bloomsbury street london", you will find lots more.
The Royal National Hotel is a massive hotel over by Russell Square has more rooms than any other in London and is less expensive, than most.
