as Patrick Stewart once said: "Make it go."

:D

I haven't read this whole thread because I've already lost over ten minutes of my life watching this. I'm sorry mate but I didn't laugh once at this, not even a smile, I couldn't see any laughs or characters to sympathise with - even David Brent/Victor Meldrew had a side you felt sorry for and/or had shared experiences with.

It was well performed though, I thought the acting was good, but just nothing funny. Good luck with your new project.

Thank you very much for saying the show was well performed and wishing me luck. I wish you all the best too.

I didn't say Marc P was wrong I said I can see his point but he was coming at criticising the show from the wrong angle. This is the thing I get annoyed about.

Now that genuinely had me laughing out loud! I haven't bothered to go back and read what I said but I am sure that was the problem - I was coming at my critique from the wrong angle.

Back to Class - Thank You For The Music Screenplay

You are now taking the piss.

You are now taking the piss.

A few people wanted to know what a few of the lines were in some of the segments that were a bit quiet. You don't have to read it, it's there if you want to look at it.

Thanks for the info.:)

You mean it was scripted? Eh?

When do we get the Making Of...Back To Class - Thank You For The Sitcom, Mr Cotter documentary? Or will we have to wait until the 10th anniversary DVD edition for that? :(

I had a look at a couple of pages and it consolidated what I thought. Read my original critique again. There is a technicality to everything. In a script more so. The funny has to be in there and plenty of it. If you wish to put this out to the world as 'product' - then be prepared for the consumer response. The acting, scripting filming and editing is first year film school exercise projects at best, where everyone on the course takes all of the roles. Which is cool. Try and pass it off as something else and you will engender the kind of response you have been getting. You say earlier you are not an amateur - why not?

The sound of a gauntlet being thrown down.

About 50/60% the rest was ad-libbed.
