Andrew: So come on George, which one do you want? Pepsi or Shirley?
George: I'm not really fussed to be honest. Have you seen my Club Tropicana speedo briefs anywhere?

Ah, 'Club Tropicana', possibly the greatest song ever written as a tribute to the concept of "all-inclusive" hotels...

I've never heard them referred to as Fat Coke or Fat Pepsi until this thread.
Quote: Nil Putters @ September 12 2009, 3:26 PM BSTI drink Diet Coke, and it tastes nothing like pepsi.
It so does! It's horrible, vile stuff.

Daddy or Chips?
Joe. I have my reasons.
And chips. Chips don't come out shopping with you and show you up by asking the woman behind the counter if she wants a rub down with a nice warm cockney.
Quote: Renegade Carpark @ September 12 2009, 3:42 PM BSTStill makes you fat though, hence Fat Coke.
I dunno, I'm doing pretty well.
... but to be fair to the overlord, he is the home made fried chip master.

I thought it was fairly common? Mainly it's people who drink the sugared version who refer to it in this manner, rather than the "diet" version drinkers. (It's a bit rich to call these drinks "diet" though. You might as well call water a "diet" drink. EDIT: Copyright M. McIntyre etc....
I drink almost nothing but 'fat' Coke. Genuinely never heard the expression before.
(Although if there's a McIntyre routine about it, it's possible I have ... but immediately forgot it as it meant nothing to me at the time.)
I think a more accurate name (for the 'diet' varities) would be Cancer Coke or Pepsi Tumour.

No, I was just having another pathetic dig at Mr M's observational comedy.

How much do you drink?
Depends. About 2 litres a day.

At the time I slammed on a lot of my weight I was going through about 20 cans.
I would literally finish one and open another.
I got off it about three years ago - it didn't stop me gaining weight though, I replaced it with more food.
But I was addicted.
Blimey, 6 and a half litres. I'm sure I would drink that much if I was that thirsty.
Give up now! I'm trying to, have been for a while but it keeps pulling me back with its lovely sugary, bubbliness.

It cost a f**king fortune!
And I wouldn't start till eleven in the morning - so I got it in pretty rapidly.
I'm surprised I could sleep - and I used to get terriable acid in the night.
Happy days!
I still drink about three or four litres of fluid even after this op.
Not fizzy pop though.
