I have to say I used to be into Pepsi but am now switching sides because it seems to be getting more and more watered down!

I have to watch my blood sugar level, so Pepsi Max all the way. It's the only diet, sugar free cola I can stomach. My local Tesco is virtually giving away Coke Zero as the shelves heave with the undrinkable death poison.
Don't get me wrong, back in the day, I used to love Fat Coke, but it's muder in a tin.
Coke Zero tastes just like Pepsi.

It made me the man I am today!

Are you sure? Pepsi just drips glucose in my mind.

Maybe on Planet Aaron, but us Earthlings can taste the difference with our human tongues.
I consider you to be knowledeable in most matters, but on the relative qualities of Pepsi Max, Coke Zero and Fat Pepsi, you've shown yourself to be a total novice.

Well Diet Coke certainly tastes like Pepsi. I recall Coke Zero as doing so also. But I could be mixing up my wrong-Coke-tasting-experiences.
Not sure what you mean about the glucose bit.

I wouldn't go near Pepsi in any form. Coke I can tell each variety, and where it's come from; bottle, Contour bottle, can, tap, etc.
I drink Diet Coke, and it tastes nothing like pepsi.

Coke Zero does, a bit.
Why do people call it Fat Coke? Or Fat Pepsi? It doesn't have any fat in it! Sugar is a carbohydrate!! (© Michael McIntyre)
The fat refers to the high sugar content, the unused portion of which is turned into fat and stored in the body for later. Unless your kidneys are screwed and you pee sugar, there is no way your body can get rid of the sugar/fat other than burn it off. So it accumulates and you get fat.

It's actually converted to glycogen rather than fat or directly taken up into cells via receptors, but never mind.

Still makes you fat though, hence Fat Coke. I mean a Skinny Latte has the same volume as a normal cup of...zzzzz.
Yeah, RC, it's not really a gripe of mine particularly. More a chance to make a lame dig at McIntyre. I do get annoyed, however, when people refer to smokers' "nicotine stains". They are tar stains. Nicotine is a clear, colourless substance.
Pepsi or Shirley?
