Is a load of shit. You select what items you want to appear, and enter your location (postcode etc), but on a regular basis it brings up everything and wants you to re-enter your location. What a load of shit.
BBC site
Well, perhaps the BBC think you're a load of shit? Did that ever cross your mind? 
Do you delete your cookies very often? It's more than likely a local setting, I have never had trouble with the site myself.

I think the feeling would be mutual! But, no, I never delete my cookies. My settings are just the same, so why would it be doing this?
iPlayer often accuses me of being outside of the UK and therefore not special enough to watch a repeat of piece-of-shit The One Show. I call it a 'Jay Hunt' and feel much better about life. Rarely use the BBC website other than for checking news.

I have no problems with the BBC website at all. Perhaps I'm just lucky.

I just get annoyed when settings that it knows for days on end, suddenly get lost for no reason.
The BBC website is terrible. Especially the 'search' function. Whose results rarely seem to have any correlation to to the search terms entered.
The guides etc are bad but I don't tend to look at them. I stick to the iPlayer.
I've tried it out and one time it will let me use iPlayer and the next it won't. I do use the radio stations though. As we speak, I'm listening to a program from Scotland.
Which bit of the BBC website are we talking about? In general I think the BBC site is great. BBC News is my homepage. Other bits are maybe less good but the news section is excellent.
