If you go about half way through the video - it's there. I'm the one in the blue and pink.

Sunken Luggage?

Yup.

That could have been me next year Pleased

Yes, thanks for that rather unflattering screen grab!

Soz. Gone now.

Don't forget to book your cave early.;)

Great exposure Sammy. I was slightly let down that your serial killer skit was used in Buffy many years ago, but other then that, I wish Sunken Luggage the best of luck.

Aw, I wasn't really bothered - I was just teasing. Probably best it's gone for everyone's sake though :)

Thanks, never really watched Buffy so didn't know but that's probably one of my least favourite bits in the show which is sods law really that they would use it - also they happened to film on a day where we had quite a low audience turn out and a quieter reaction than normal which again was total sod's law! Luckily they didn't show enough for this to be really apparent though so overall I'm pleased how it turned out. At the time I was really worried.

I think the news people wanted to show the low budget, 'let's put the show on right here', amateur end of the festival. You all came across as very earnest and nicely ambitious type performers. The 'cave' just added to that bohemian atmosphere.

No doubt, from a reporting point of view, when it came to representing the more fringe elements of the Festival, it was either you guys or those twats who dress up as clowns and bug the f**k out of people on the streets.

Oh and shame on you for not watching Buffy / Angel. :P

They asked me a lot of questions about if we were at the fringe to be spotted/how much chance did we think we had of being spotted and I kept answering with 'Not much really, we are mostly here for fun / learning' which didn't seem the correct answer as they kept rephrasing the question! We are ambitious but not deluded. I think they wanted it to seem like we had dedicated our whole lives and scrimped and saved just for this one chance.

I miss that cave. It was very wet, it actually dripped* and had plague in the walls but I loved it dearly.

*By dripped I mean it rained quite heavily

Ta for posting this - it's looks like it was a great experience. Did you do the full run?We nearly had a show there a couple of years ago and now it seems further away than ever - I love the fringe( including the annoying critters someone else mentioned) and this year was the first in about 10 I haven't been there. It was great to see your clip. Did youget good reviews?

The fringe was so much fun! Best month of my life so far. I can't wait until next year. We did a full run, every day for 22 days. We got both good and mixed reviews. This was our strongest one http://www.remotegoat.co.uk/review_view.php?uid=4085

If you are thinking of doing the fringe I would highly reccommend the free fringe option for a first year :) Let me know if you are going up!

That's interesting, Sammy. Cheers for posting.

'Edimburg Festival' though??! Did you go to the wrong place by mistake? ;)

Dan

Nice hat Sammy. :)

Nice one Sammy - sorry I missed you there!

I see what you mean about them trying to put a spin on it though.

What? You travelled "all the way to Edinburgh"? It's hardly a trip to the South Pole is it?

You spent three months on a show and £800 each and had a great time? - What a tragedy!

If I had any performing ability whatsover I'd see it as an excellent way to spend a few weeks. You'll have gained all kinds of useful experience and a few good contacts hopefully.

:)

and yes Dan, what's with Edimburg?
