Writers/Directors commentary, filmed interviews with the writers and commentary on the Outtakes

Cool. Any merchandise?
Quote: Dolly Dagger @ September 9 2009, 2:57 PM BSTCool. Any merchandise?
Mugs, tee-shirts, key rings that sort of thing. We are talking to a few manufacturing companies about it. If you want I can sign a mouse mat with my face on it and send it to you?
Any views on the Outtakes themselves?
Nope.

I do need something to line the cat litter tray. How absorbent is it?
Well that was a fascinating read, might go and have a look at a clip now.
I don't know if you've been away but (and it's probably been said before) but 'Welcome Back Cotter'
Yeah, I know it's an obscure american sitcom refernce but I went there.

I preferred the thread if I am honest. Sorry to be one of the ignorant Romans with a thumb down. But that which does not kill us makes us stronger... as Jordan's new beaux likes to say.

Very absorbent. I used it recently to shield my face after being attack by water balloons by some local scallywags.
Quote: Tim Walker @ September 9 2009, 4:59 PM BSTNope.
Always good to hear positive feedback!

That's a new one on me. I've never heard of it before. I usually get Jamesie Cotter from Rab C. Nesbitt.

Did you watch the episode or just the outtakes?

Nothing obscure about Welcome Back Kotter! It was a staple of my childhood TV viewing. John Travolta as Vinnie Barbarino pre-empted the Fonz. And Horshack was a great nerd, long before so many others.

Well I had never heard of it. I'm far too young to have seen it.

I watched some of both episodes. And I know every one said they liked the production and camera work I didn't. There is a grammar to cinematography as in everything else. Break the rules for a reason. Whip hand panning was inovative in Homicide beacause every shot had a point. You don't think it's laugh aloud funny parodying stuff that has been done to death before either I guess. I can tell. You need to concentrate on the material and less on the 'marketing'bigging it up. People know what's what. Do something you yourself find genuinely funny rather than what you think other people should do. Like any other craft you can break it down. Comedy equates to people laughing a lot at material, look at what you have written and count how many times people will laugh out loud. Be honest with yourself.

Unusual criticism. I've often been told on here and other places that I do too many things that amuse me but are not commercial. I'm happy to keep continuing this as I have completed a lot of projects in less then five years and they have all made me laugh and my train of thought is, one day something that makes me laugh will make millions of other people too, very much the Ricky Gervais school of comedy.
So what you're saying is that Back to Class is made for the public? Well no it's not really. I watched the episode the other day for the first time in a month and found many of the jokes funny but too subtle at times especially Keith segments. I admit some segments are a bit safe and more risks will be taken in the full 30 minute pilot.
Have you ever heard the term "Rinsed to death!" By any chance?
