The only reason I left home was because me and my dad don't get on at all yet he is the one who has offered my old room back.
Aw. Sounds like he wants to make up maybe?

Well, as seen as we're all paid up until October 18th, I'll be staying here a tad longer. Thinking time. It's just after living alone (or rather, away from your first 'home') it is rather hard to go back. However, Loz is doing the same thing, only she's moving into her grandma's house.

With bum sex.

Possibly.

Have you lived away from home before?

Hope not

Well, only this flat. I moved in here a year ago, last Thursday with five other people. Quite crowded.
It's quite sad actually as Jamie stayed with us until last July before quitting his A-Levels and going for a job as a long distance lorry driver. And Jen left with that bloke. Even had a bloke named Chris stayed here for a while - I really didn't like him.
So how do you know it's hard to go back then, eh eh eh?
(It really isn't at all. IME. But then you don't get on too well with your Dad, as you said, so maybe it would be in your case.)
This is a lovely thread. I feel BCGers are opening up. This is turning into a therapy session. Is there anyone else who wants to open their heart?
I'm quite partial to my blood, so no thanks!
thanks for the post, very helpful to all.

Quote: Robert D @ September 8 2009, 11:29 PM BSTI've got to find a new flat come the end of October. Thank God we didn't start decorating the whole place. Slowly, one by one, everyone has left me to the extent where there is only two of us (out of an original five) left.
I am dreading looking for a new place. I could just move back in with my parents (as they have offered) but that would be admitting defeat, wouldn't it?
Why not look for a flatshare in Loot or Gumtree? Living with people you've never met can be quite an adventure in a good way. Or student/key worker living schemes sometimes offer bargains if they can't fill the place with who they're supposed to.
Just read you were 17. I'd say live at home save on the rent and make the most of it. Bills and rent will suck up so much of your income you'll have no fun. Living at home when you're young is a great way to save to travel etc.
