OK, I was bored enough to take a few photos...
Here's the garden. Those two pot plants on the right are cucumber and butternut squash. And further right, in the sun light patch are my tomatoes, which are looking dead at the minute 
The thing in the middle is an Apple Tree 
Top Row: Remains of Coriander, Fennel, Sage, Lemon Balm.
Middle Row: Oregano, Rosemary and random Purple Broccoli.
Thyme, Parsley, Strawberry. (And out of shot Chives)
A messy mix of Cucumber, Broad Beans and failed Peas. (Ignore the structure on the left 
my failed attempt at building a climbing frame for the peas)
Here are the potatoes I just dug up 
Broccoli, after the Caterpillars had it:
Not the best collection of veg at the minute, but you wait til next year!!

My aloe vera plant has had lots of babies.

I like the apple tree. And the little weirdly shaped potatoes.
They are very knobbly!
The potatoes made me LOL, but the rest looks quite cool.

You need an automated sprinkler system, like wot my dad has.
It used to be semi-automated (me).
Cheers. I've never grown potatoes before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Not bad considering I just dumped three little spuds in the ground without much thought. Will do a proper patch of potatoes (whenever the best time is to do it) next and get shit loads. hopefully

Nah, these were in baskets and pots, it would have to be pretty accurate to hit them all. I just need to make sure they're strong enough before I leave em.
The potatoes look like newborn rabbits.
What sort of soil do you have? It looks a bit chalky in some of those pics.

The earth is mostly clay. Except the herb path, which is some sort of multipurpose compost.
As a sign of my ever growing age I'm thinking of getting an allotment.
There are some new ones going in January round my way. = £150 for the year. Seems pretty good value to me. Thought it might be fun - even if it only lasts a year.
The plots are 1000sq ft. But I can't visualize it - is it a football pitch, a tennis court or snooker table.
The soil is clay based.
So what do I grow? Planting in January.

Roughly the same size as mine. Perhaps a little bigger.
