Stand up Comedy. Page 15

I want to see Bussell greased-up on stage, in his Speedos, doing Frank Spencer impersonations, as a baying mob chuck pennies at him whilst shouting "dance, dance!".

Have you tried www.Bussellgreased-uponstageinhisSpeedosdoingFrankSpencer-impersonationsasabayingmobchuckpenniesathimwhilstshoutingdancedance.com?

You comedy tart, Stotty. Unimpressed

Oooh, Betty!

*pelts David with pennies*

Dance, bitch!

Now do Larry Grayson!

Not the impression, his rotting corpse! Ha-ha!!!

*cough* Aaron off topic, off topic *cough*

Dirty splitter! Filthy grass! Angry

Did my first gong show last night The King of the Manor, Newcastle, lasted 2:41 amidst some slightly biased judges, other acts and even the MC were suprised I got carded early.

Enjoyed it thoroughy and not put of the phenomna, although it's a cold day in hell when you'll get me at the Comedy Store. When I'm back from my break up here, gonna hit the circuit again big time.

Well done Danny, that's not bad really I'd imagine. That's a long time, talking.

Well done on having a crack at it, Danny - I've not been brave enough to face the gong just yet. I saw from your FB profile pic that you'd done the Comedy Store. Was it really that bad? How did you get the gig anyway?

(there, now we're back on topic)

Is it a gong show or pay to play then?

Neither. It's The Comedy Car Crash and they just seem to book an army of comics.

Good lad. Oh the car crash I would buy Ty or Tim a pint and encourage them to pull your name out early, they can go onto midnight sometimes and I should know I was last on the first time!!

I suppose half never turn up.

I suppose half never turn up.

From what Daddy Maz is saying, I guess they do.

it went very well. The week after I died on my arse, though. But I had a very strong incentive to keep on at it - I wanted to stop working in an office.

Did you acheive it? Unless you break big, is it possible to make a living out of standup? Even then it's short term cash I guess.

Cool, what was bad about the Comedy Store?

Has any of you stand ups done the Frog and Bucket?

Would like to. Bit far though.
