PS. I'm not really a number I'm a 'FREE MAN!!' (Well if I know you well enough...and you're a woman...and you live around our way..)
Sitcom Trials Autumn '09 Page 28
It's unfair to talk about people on this forum being 'Lurkers'. Sounds so sordid and pervy. Some of us simply like to follow people on these threads, occasionally exposing ourselves to new ideas and opinions. I may not have much to say, but I do enjoy watching you. If I make it thorough to the Trials, I'll be more than happy to reveal myself in the bar.

What do you reckon the chances are of them extending it back to thirty two?

I too would expose myself if I got through.
Not to be outed as "Lurker", I've entered too.
Just had an acknowledgement of receipt which is nice considering they had 680 entries. The BBC don't even do that. Well not on everything.

I would count that as a success as I haven't even had that!

Check your junk box. That's where I found mine.
Yeah, I got a receipt as well, but I expect that's common practice. Good of them to do that because they don't have to
The acknowledgement was a nice gesture. The producer isn't a writer is he?
Yeah, the sitcom trials people do seem like nice people. I wonder if they give feedback to some of the failed entrants.

Yup same here I looked on it as a critique on my entry.
I see a receipt as an acknowledgement from them, that they recognise every entrant as being equal, and in the same position. It just feels like the most positive comedy project for new writers.
I entered under my non-lurking name.
