I liked the bit where they (the French brothers) lost each other in the panic and then found each other again. *wipes eye*
What are you watching on TV? Page 924
Yes, that was nice.
Quote: Nil Putters @ September 7 2009, 10:54 PM BSTFound it. Teh bay.
I've no idea what you could possibly mean!
It's unbreakable code!
Heheh.
Well, as awesome as that was, I swear there was more drama when I originally watched it. More hysterical screaming Yanks.
Well, it would have been rolling news coverage probably. Pretty unedited I'd imagine.
I missed the whole thing on that day, so is doubly interesting to see footage of it in progress, (without sounding too ghoulish).

I meant when I originally watched the documentary. The rolling news on the day was much more sanitised. We're spoon-fed such dumbed-down crap.

CD2 stuck at 99.4%. Doesn't look like there's anyone with the whole thing.

Maybe I'm getting confused with the documentary. My memory's not all that.
Is that the version with the German soundtrack?
Oh bollocks.
Quote: Chappers @ August 15 2009, 9:50 PM BSTFamily Guy (the gay marriage won)
!
Quote: Nil Putters @ September 7 2009, 11:54 PM BSTOh bollocks.
Quote: PhQnix @ August 19 2009, 1:00 PM BSTWhy is that a thing? As long as it's not for too long it'll be fun!
You really are such a woman.
Quote: Scatterbrained Floozy @ August 20 2009, 3:46 PM BSTMaid Marian and Her Merry Men. They're showing them all on GOLD, and we Sky+ed 'em up.
Do yourself (and my and Markself) a favour and DVD 'em up.

I may have a look at that.
Not seen that. Any good?

A +5 Nerd. With a frost resistance.
Surely he gets -12 nerd points for failing to marry another one?
Quote: hotzappa11 @ August 26 2009, 11:11 AM BSTIt was good wasn't it? I hope there's another series.
As much as I enjoyed it; I don't.
Quote: Tim Walker @ August 29 2009, 1:47 AM BSTJust stumbled upon Confessions From A Holiday Camp (1977) on Comedy Central Extra Whatever... Haven't seen this one before. Even by the standards of the Confessions... series this is jaw-droppingly terrible.
I can't even watch those. And yet, they're still not as bad as the Adventures Of A... series. Words cannot describe.
Quote: Scottidog @ August 30 2009, 7:58 PM BST(is their a basement in a ship?)
there* >_<
Quote: Rob H @ August 31 2009, 1:27 AM BSTIt's a bargain. Though series four is the worst. I'm just finishing of the box set with the Christmas specials. I'll be sad to lose Jonathan, but Lewis and Wire int he Blood are set up ready to fill the gap.
New one coming first though.
Quote: Scatterbrained Floozy @ August 31 2009, 4:01 PM BSTFinal Destination 3. Terrible.
Wrong.
Quote: Chappers @ August 31 2009, 8:55 PM BSTI'm watching Framed on BBC1 - the Trevor Eve thing about transporting all the national gallery paintings to Wales.
It was pretty good.
Quote: Tim Walker @ September 2 2009, 11:28 AM BSTAnyway, just watched BBC Four's 'Rich Man, Poor Man: Ben Dover Straightens' on iPlayer. Worth a watch. Ben Dover (real name Lesley Honey!) decides to give up porn at the age of 53 and try to become a proper actor.
Father of Tyger Drew-Honey of Outnumbered.
Quote: LIME5000 @ September 5 2009, 10:46 PM BSTpeople either Love the beatles, or hate the Beatles.
I hate the beatles.
(To be fair, I don't hate them, I just think they're really mediocre and incredibly overrated beyond all human reasoning.)
Quote: Scottidog @ September 5 2009, 10:47 PM BSTGood. But over rated IMO.
Also Paul McCartney is a big scouse tit.
Quote: Tim Walker @ September 6 2009, 8:34 PM BSTThat C4 documentary about phone calls and voice messages from the Twin Towers on 9/11 is on at 9pm.
That was good. 102 Minutes was much better though.
How I Met Your Mother.
