102 Minutes That Changed America.
What are you watching on TV? Page 923
Me too.
I think the most interesting documentary I've seen on this subject was from the two french guys who were filming with a fire department when it happened. This is interesting in the way it's using some members of the publics footage though.
Oh yeah, I think I saw the French guys' one. I seem to remember there was a bit where bodies were falling on the roof above him making loud thumping noises.
Yeah, nasty. Seeing all these people hanging out the windows is such a sad sight.
Must see the French one.
This is truly fabulous, captivating television though. I love it.
Two things have struck me though:
The arrogance in some of the comments from the public - "Why would anyone do this? Why would they do this to America? Everyone loves America." (That wasn't actually said, I'm just paraphrasing.)
That the Trade Center's staff should be held responsible for the majority of the deaths, not the plane hijackers. I mean, ordering people to stay in their offices? Think of how many lives could have been saved, at least below the hit, if they'd advised people to evacuate.
Wasn't it fire department operator telling the people to stay put? That one operator astounded me though, obviously taking to an extremely scared individual he more or less shouted at them then ended..."Stay where you are!! I'm put the phone down now."
That was the man shouting that. Really surprised me first time I heard it too. Unbelievable responses from some of these supposedly responsible individuals.
The woman, from something else that was said, I took to be the Trade Center's own staff.
Oh, I forgot about this woman. Classic reactionary idiot: "I think we should go to war, like, now."
And the guy after, "We should go to every Arab country and kill them. Blow them all up." 102 Minutes That Changed America? Well, for a couple of hours anyway.
And the Mafioso dudes after him. Hilarious.

Good luck finding it btw. It's like it was never filmed.

Actually, it's on Amazon for £4, but it's out of stock.
But it's eeeeasy to buy it.

I have a vague feeling that I may have seen it - but I certainly want to watch again. I shall bide my time.
