It was indeed Gavin. We went to Robyn's and watched TV and stuff, nice and relaxed.
Was your weekend good?

It's in about two weeks now. Much of Fresher's will be lost on me since I don't like clubbing, this basically makes it pointless for me to attend almost all of the events arranged. I'm expecting it to be a slow start for me at uni, a while before I make new friends but I think I'm okay with this. Also living off campus means that I will miss out on quite a bit of the week, I will be in attendance for the Fresher's Fair days (my induction) and that's about it for that week. It'll be interesting though and I'm looking forward to it.

Freshers Fayre is always good fun. It's a great place to get a hobby/ join a sport etc.
I made some of my closest friends through joining the rugby team.
But there are always tonnes of freebies too!
Oh yes, the freebies are important.
I enjoyed my first year in halls. The med student halls were right next door to the student nurses' accommodation.

Quote: EllieJP @ September 7 2009, 11:42 AM BSTEllie is back from Blackpool... no offence to anyone who lives there/likes it there... but what a run down town that is. It's like stepping back in time to a recession in the 80's. There is NO where nice to eat/drink or even stay. I have been there once now... never again!
I lived in Blackpool for nigh on two years..
But that was way back in the '50s.
I've never heard anything good about Blackpool from people who have visited it recently.
Quote: PhQnix @ September 7 2009, 11:16 AM BSTI have a kodama. Therefore I win at everything. My girlfriend is amazing.
She is not. She is very sleepy and embarrassed. She is also missing you while you're out drinking.

Very, thanks. Hard to believe it's been so long though. Dunno how I've put up with him.
Back from gym - buggered

Well done Bigfella!
Keep it up, I hate going, but you feel great when you've done it.
