Didn't I-Robot end with an almost stomach churning end to some sort of Moses symbolism? Or am I iz wrong?

I really like Will Smith, but he produces a lot of hits and misses, which is weird because he can generally make good choices, it's normally they are just executed wrong.

Wasnt the end just a shit load of I-Robots coming to kick Will Smith's ass and he said something witty and the were destroyed in a field of his awesomeness?

It has similarities I suppose, but in the end I think they're about different things.

I'll chat to you about it off board coz I'm not making much sense here din't want to give the meat bags spoliers

Independence Day was bilge and all.

Will Smith is awesome but he's been in two movies that raped two of my favourite books.
I Robot completely missed the point of Isaac Asimov's series.
And I Am Legend...there was nothing there except they were both about vampires and he lived alone....oh wait in the movie he wasn't alone. I HAAAATED that movie so much. I Am Legend is in my top 3 favourite books ever read.

Edit: P.S. Anyone see the previews for this new Brit flick? Bronson Looks pretty good. Looks pretty different.

Bit controversial as it hero worships some one who's only reaslly famous for thumping people and hostage taking.

His autobiog was surprisingly whiny and self important.

I agree that I Am Legend was a great book, and that the movie (like the The Omega Man) completely missed the point of it, not least with the embarrassing Bob Marley cod-philosophising. And even within the film their were problems, such as how the Nightcrawlers, who were supposed to be lacking any kind of intelligence, managed to rig up a trap to get him... That said, I still quite enjoyed it. It rattles along at a fair old pace, and has some quite exciting moments.

As for I, Robot. Again, they did spectacularly miss the point of Asimovs stories, but it's still a pretty entertaining romp. And nowhere near as bad as The Bicentineal Man starring Robin Williams.

I saw Inglorious Basterds.... I really enjoyed it, but I can see why many wouldn't. I did gross out at some of the gory parts though!

Do you often gross out at movies? Whistling nnocently

Yes. Whistling nnocently

Ha! Cheater!! :P

:D I am a mod... do not mock me!

:D

Who here freaks out during a movie when they have to go wee? You don't want to miss an important part!
