This looks like it might be good, judging by the pics.

The Wolf Man

Oooh and a trailer

EDIT: Hmmm, not sure about that.

I swear, that film has been following me around for the past year. I've seen it location filming in different places on no less than 3 separate occasions.

Of late? His last film was over ten years ago! (I actually quite liked Titanic when I went to see it)

Actually his last film was an IMAX 3D Titanic documentary. (Or at least, it was between now and Titanic. And it was AWESOME.)

Get Aaron to take you.

Has he ever been to a cinema?

Not with the kind of shit and the kind of prices one is generally subjected to.

I've also gone off Nicolas Cage

About what; ten-fiteen years ago?? He does so much shite these days.

Be interested to see what people make of Inglorious Basterds which looks reminiscent of some desperate 70s comic strip from Battle or Warlord.

Well bollocks to that; 'Basterds' was outstanding.

You know what I mean Aaron; his last proper feature film, not his documentary stuff.

Just watched District 9. What a great film.

I saw this today, really good.
Didn't go how I expected though.

I was just thinking "Aaron hasn't hassled me about spelling in months".
Woops Angelic

Arguably: whoops*

Just watched District 9. Cup of tea and a think before I come back with my thoughts.

I saw District 9 today, and thought it was excellent. There was a bit of over-explaining, but I thought the parallels with the District 6 forced removals in the 1970s was particularly thought-provoking.

Loved the special effects and I though van der Merwe was a great character, well acted.

Yes, pretty unlikeable character until pretty much the end. Like you said, a very thought provoking film.

mmmm

mmmm?

It wasn't bad.
The CGI and effect were top notch.

I did fancy watching bad taste again after seeing the exploding people.

Shhh! ;)

It was slow in getting going, but in the end I really enjoyed the story.

Errr

I have a 15 minute tolerance for movies. If they are not good after that long, they can very easily find themselves switched off. :D

15 minutes isn't long, but I ain't gonna watch half a film and decide it's shit after an hour. I usually give them another try when I'm in a different mood, so it's not all bad.

But generally, if a film doesn't start off well, then what are the chances it will end any better? A good film, is a good film all the way through, I'm there for the journey of it, not the destination.

Ahem.

See I disagree totally I liked the beginning alot.

Spoilers below
All the footage at the beginning with the news footage and the guy I couldn't understand was great, I started to go urgh when he was infected and grew the arm and it just descended into madness. That GI Joe guy was annoying and deserved to die
