Where would be your personal favourite place to live?
Nice places to live
London. Central. Very very central. A view over Piccadilly Circus would do nicely.
Orrr a massive manor house, set amongst acre upon acre of gorgeous English countryside and wildlife.
In one of the old fisherman's cottages in Whitby, or, Iowa City. Very nice indeed.

Have you ever tried living in a big house? I lived for a while in a relative's big house, and it was just annoying. Everything was too far away. If you want a loo (and there were many of them), you had to walk for ages. Much better, I find, is staying in a tiny place, so much more convenient. The trick is to not need so much 'stuff', then life becomes more pleasurable.
I'll take the pool though.
I always thought big houses looked cold and unappealing. I'd much rather have "cosy". But I haven't got kids, so it's easy for me to say that.

I would like rooms big enough I could roller skate in and giant bath tubs but I'd have to have a cleaner(s).
That would be fun too.

I don't know, there's something appealing about having a bedroom and en suite that's larger then most people's flats.
Plus big house equals more rooms for fun - bar, pool table, wet room, games room, cinema, etc. Damn you MTV Cribs!

I wasn't actually going to mention that one or the glass U-bends on the lavs. I've said too much! Move along, nothing to see here.

Notice that a lot of the clebs on Cribs are hopelessly needy showy-offs, who make their personal lives a misery in order to feel they have succeeded.
I'd like to see them visit David Mitchell's flat.
A Victorian four-storey cosy town house in London with big windows, wood floors and room for thousands of books.
