You got crabs?

I have fire ants. I stepped in a nest while I was mowing the lawn. Teary

Speaking of the weather, it was an almost-enjoyable 89F/32C while I mowed. There was still a lot of sweat involved, but it sure beats 104F/40C.

What's the humidity like there??

The Weather Channel says 42% currently. San Antonio is rarely even slightly humid, except when it rains. Our weather tends to come from the NW instead of the humid Gulf of Mexico to the south.

I grew up in south Florida and I know how oppressive humidity can be. But it's actually much more humid in most of the eastern part of the country than it is here.

Yeah, when we have a warm summer, the humidity is usually pretty bad, but we lucked out this summer. Lots of rain, average temps in the 70s and only about 9 days of bad heat. It's been great for me since I can't tolerate the heat too well. We actually have a frost advisory for areas near me tonight!

It is beautiful. Vaguely unreal looking, though.

You are soo lucky.

I suppose I am. But thank you for saying so.
