The have a moan at Manchester United thread

I know Aaron started a one and only football thread, but I for one am sick to death of reading on that thread people's petty rants about Manchester United (it is just jealousy really and I think certain people need to grow up). Because I'm so sick about reading it, can we please all have one thread where if you feel you need to have a good moan about Manchester United, do it on this thread, so I won't have to bother reading it and can we just talk about other football issues that are of some importance on the other thread.

What does the United mean, aren't there two teams? Sorry, I watch the one where they run around with an egg under their arm.

How did the old joke go? Name four football teams with swear-words in their names? Sc**thorpe has c**t, Arsenal has arse, I forget the third, then Man F**king U. Can anyone remember the third team?

Come on Jack, is it not enough that your team has the FA, the referees and the press in their pockets, now you want to have the BCG as well?

Man p and grow some footballs. No one is forcing you to read negative threads about your beloved team and if the allegations are totally unfounded, then laugh it off as petty jealousy and move on.

Good effort, Jack, trying to get everyone to slag off Manchester United in a single thread. Won't work of course, but nice try. I shall now slag them off everywhere else other than this thread, by way of being predictable.

I too hate Utd.

They have won everything in sight countless times over the last 20 years and have a glorious history before that filled with some of the greatest players in the history of the game as well the best stadium in the country.

My hatred of Utd is certainly not down to jealousy.

Seriously though Jack I wouldn't get so worked up about it. Reading all these cry babies moaning about Utd is good fun. Why would we want to mess around with that?

But we can always get an easy, knee-jerk rise out of Man Utd fans. Hence the very existence of this thread.

The fact you want to get a knee-jerk rise out of us loyal devotees is evidence of your jealousy.

Not really. It's just oh so very easy, that's why we do it. Back in the late 70s/early 80s when Liverpool were winning every bloody thing, their fans' attitude was so respectful to us lesser teams it was impossible to really dislike them. Plus, they had thick skins those guys. You couldn't get a cheap rise out of them.
