Yes indeed. Tut.
Quote: Badge @ September 1 2009, 12:14 AM BSTI might have missed something, but wouldn't people on here rather eat fresh fish, fruit, cream, etc, rather than fish, fruit, cream etc which is still perfectly edible but not quite as fresh?
It's the word fresh! Not the concept.

Annoyingly that's what I did put originally! Stupid American Google.

Erm... cooking?

So would you prefer the fish, cream, fruit etc to be called "today's" instead? That's not a bad idea - plain English and all that. Fresh thinking - I like it!

That'll be the one.

Do they have the hawk at Euston???
I know they use her at the new St Pancras station to scare away the pigeons.
Very effective too.
Quote: Dolly Dagger @ August 31 2009, 10:58 PM BSTWhy? The actual sound or what it means? All those phrases sound really appetising to me.
I like fresh cream, fish and all that. For me, it's the sound of those words. They are nails on blackboard to me. As soon as I hear those trigger words I start getting agitated.

I'd like to assume that everything I buy is fresh.
Oddly the Eels song - 'Fresh Feeling' has no effect on me, mainly because I'm wrapped up in what's happening in the music and not the lyrics.
