And so was 'This woman's work'...which is about how woman have to stay at home depressed cleaning, or when they get a job, it is on a severly lower pay grade than a man's.

Debatable.

A woman's work is never done? Lazy cow!

I'm watching Framed on BBC1 - the Trevor Eve thing about transporting all the national gallery paintings to Wales.

An interesting concept in a not very interesting way. ie. where did the idea come from? I've got loads of them.

A programme about sending paintings to Wales...god, that sounds dull.

I think I would rather watch a documentary about Alan Titchmarsh working amongst youth offenders in the community and getting them into gardening.

Huh?

It's an ace idea!

Not too badly executed so far. I could have done better of course. ;)

Which the paintings to wales or my idea?

:)

Haha! Well, as much as your idea sounds intriguing, the former.

The only thing is the inevitable Ninja Turtles references. And when he finds out he'll be a bit pissed off.

Kill Bill Vol.1 on BBC Two. Just gonna watch the good bit then go to bed. :D

Well that didn't happen.

Still not a bad piece of TV - although I could do better.

Great theme tune to Desperate Romantics meanwhile.

Is it Bowie?

Don't think so but it's a good 'un.

Once Upon A Time In America. Good film, but jimminy, it's long! And after three hours forty minutes a character who is possibly James Woods is possibly thrown into the back of a garbage truck. Or shot and thrown in. Or something.

Doesn't he throw himself in? By that point in the film I thought he was just doing the decent thing...

Anyway, just watched BBC Four's 'Rich Man, Poor Man: Ben Dover Straightens' on iPlayer. Worth a watch. Ben Dover (real name Lesley Honey!) decides to give up porn at the age of 53 and try to become a proper actor. It's a pretty good doc. His acting tutor is Peter (surname escapes me), who played Sophie's Dad in Peep Show.

This World: Gypsy Child Thieves on BBC Two. :(
