Kids' TV

I am currently on my second day of baby sitting. I have watched about 12 episodes of Charlie and Lola on YouTube and am currently watching Nick Toons with her - a Spongebob Squarepants marathon.

Now, usually I would complain but I found Charlie and Lola quite amusing and am currently finding certain parts of Squarepants funny. Do we all experience this or am I just sad? Huh?

We were watching f**king Pingu last night >_< [/stoners]

Laughing out loud yaaaay Pingu!
Actually I find Sponge Bob pretty funny. I used to watch it a couple of years back.

Spongebob is pretty good, although I feel I just missed out on it being part of my childhood to have any nostalgic ties with it. Unlike Hey, Arnold! And Rugrats and lots of others I could name, but ain't gonna, goddammit!

Yea I grew up watching those too.
I think the kids cartoons I still watch the most (when they are on) are Looney Tunes, and Pinky and the Brain.

Looney Toons are timeless.

I still watch Tom and Jerry quite a bit too, and I'd like to watch Road Runner, but I never see it on TV much anymore :(

Gosh darn, I did love that stream of Nickelodeon programs.
Could never handle Pingu, though.
My proper nostalgic favourite, though? The Ferals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9XVSCjOgFo

Yup definitely didn't get that one. The only Canadian kids shows I can think of was Reboot. I loved that cartoon especially the last season.

Reboot was awesome! :D

Many, many years ago, when most of you were just sperms, there was a thing called the 80s, which had the finest collection of crap-tacular Saturday morning cartoons.

Now if you'll excuse me, this thread has brought back a lot of nostalgic whimsy, so I'm off to run around the garden with a towel around my neck whilst singing the theme tune to 'Battle of the Planets'.

My favourite 80s cartoon were probably He-man, Spiderman and the Smurfs. Those were the ones I watched the most. Battletech too whenever it was one. Mask was pretty badass too.

Does anyone remember?

Cool

I love Papa Smurf.

F**k me!!! Battle of the Plants!!!! How f**king cool was that.

And the other programme - Starfleet with the thing that bolted together. Brian May, Eddie Van Haylen, Steve Vai and loads of other guitar playing types did the theme tune!
