Confused/annoyed, Aladdin rubs the lamp again only to hear a recorded message from an Indian call centre.
To make it more surreal the sketch could turn out to be a 'Watchdog' reconstruction on rip-off phone scams.

Only read your first post Andyroo. Have now read your re-write and you've polished well.
Agree with 'picky' Billwill regarding historical accuracy. I'd also prefer a traditionally-dressed genie rather than a contemporary version.
Really liked the concept and the Genie's obligatory financial dialogue is spot-on.
