The sticky-outy flah bit actually contains storage space for the colour gels, IIRC.
Tis like original Star Trek style but less cardboard and fairy lights!
I still don't understand what this is.
It's non-digital, so it's using film and it's about taking photos without thinking?
Someone please explain it better!
I'm not sure I understand the point. But fair play, photography is cool.

It's basically taking blurry and tinted shots of everyday things and turning it into an artistic expression.

I've read that and the official about page. But still, don't understand what it offers that a regular camera, with the ability to add these effects, doesn't offer.

Ah so it's using a 35 mmm, automatic camera. But is it a SLR lens or not?
I still have a thing for polaroids - the colours are often quite nice.
I like Polaroids!

It's to do with the fact that you CAN'T do that, making the images more spontanous and the element of surprise in what actually comes out.
Plus it wasn't possible for a long time to do those effects by computer space age boy with your fancy techy ways!

Ah I see. You can do the same with disposable cameras I guess. Sainsbury's are doing ones for £2.50 (27 exposures) with an envelope for printing for a £1 included. I bought a couple for the school holidays. I just don't like the results with flash.

Hmm. Well they did about 3 years ago. But not sure now. Hope so!
