Survivor, for example. I'd love to watch a bunch of people actually survive off the land in the middle of the jungle or something. Why ruin it by forming tribes, booting people off the show and having them do stupid stunts in order to win a slice of pizza?

Yeah it would be cool to be shown them as the social experiments that they claim to be.

Like, would Paris Hilton ever have a British Best Friend?

That thing Ben Fogel (sp?) originated from was like that. Castaway?

Curt!
Tell me more about this Cake Boss.
I'm intrigued & a bit peckish.

I watch Come Dine With Me, Wife Swap (occasionally, although last night US episode was particularly bizarre and funny/scary), the odd series of Big Brother and the audition rounds of X Factor. Does Dragons Den count too?

Looks like a rip-off of Ace of Cakes.

Oh yeah, Dragons' Den too.

It's probably easier just to list the stuff I don't watch tbh. :D

Cheers!

That explains the 'What' but not the 'Why'
Now if you'll excuse me, I fancy a Jaffa Cake.
:D

I've only seen Ace of Cakes, but it was somewhat enjoyable. A bunch of quirky people making quirky cakes. They traveled to Hawaii to make this cake for the 100th episode of Lost:

You can see a bunch of the company's cakes on their website:

I bet they just made that cake up as they went along.

I watch Strictly Come Dancing :) It's surrealistic rather than realistic I would say. And the great Joe Calzaghe is on it this year. When I was running regularly we used the same training run which is the local scenic drive. He said hello to me. That makes me his friend right?

Hooray!!! No more Big Brother, Channel Four is axing it next year!

Don't worry women and queers, for a modest fee, you can come round to my house and watch me a make a cup of tea at three in the morning.

I'm glad this dark period in British television history is over. Maybe Channel Four could be really ground breaking by showing some comedy or drama.

I can't get enough of 'Mantracker':

We knew it.

Another channel is likely to buy it.

Dear GOD I hope it's not the BBC.

Everyone seems to remember Mr Trebus, it's one those unusual but easily pronounceable names. Anyone who possesses the name is probably asked if they're related to Crouch End's most prolifc collector.

I'm enjoying the Ratcatchers, I'm pretty sure they're pros now but after the first time I wondered if they weren't just a couple of jokers with a dog and some Tom and Jerry mousetraps who had blagged themselves a telly programme.

Errr

I've heard that the next series of "Fat Doctor" is going to be good. Whistling nnocently
