They are certainly a great team. They have a fine team at the minute and are technically great, but they play like robots. Fine strike partnership of Miroslav Klose and Lukas Podolski, but they are both Polish anyway, so if they played for there native countries, how good would Germany be now?

Liverpool 2-0 down to Villa at home. :O

Okay, another conversation-starter: What's the best game you've ever been to? Mine has to be the 4-4 draw between Everton and Liverpool in the F.A. Cup, back in '91. It was the last season that there was old-fashioned terracing at the Gladwys Street end of Goodison, which is where I was, and it was jam-packed. We came from behind 4 times to draw the game, then, later that week, we won the replay, which I was also at, 1-0. I think we got knocked out in the next round by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Tony Cottee missed a penalty, after Dennis Wise put him off, by apparently going up to him as he was about to take it, and betting him a fiver that he'd miss.

I had a fiver on Villa at 8/1. :D

:D Nice one.

3 -1 to Villa in the end, they all be moaning at work today; we have at least 6 Liverpool fans there. They do moan a lot anyway. :D

Sutton United 2 Coventry 1.

I was also at Stamford bridge when Bobbie Charlton had announced his retirement. He got a standing ovation from the whole ground including the Shed.

There's no way Liverpool can win the Premiership without buying another striker. They were two goals down last night and brought Voronin on, you have to have better strikers to bring on off the bench if you are to win the Premier League. Torres is the only out and out striker and God knows what position the hard-working Kuyt plays in.

The Millwall West Ham game is kicking off big time.

Someone has been stabbed, mass pitch invasions the game has been stopped and then re-started.

No suprise though.

Scum.

Who has the Carling Cup highlights/coverage nowadays?

Someone has been stabbed

Should I? Shouldn't I?

No, make up your own sick West Ham stabbing jokes on your own.

(And then text them to me.)
