That's a hard question for a straight guy...
Yes? No? Maybe. I'll go with maybe. Anyway, that's not the point. I still wish they'd take a leaf out of your book.

A fig leaf?

My housemate is always nude!

Normally I manage to kill of good relationships without proposing! Still, 374th time's the charm, eh?
Thanks everyone. I've been shitting a brick for a week.

Just point and laugh. That usually works with flashers.

How are you going to propose?
Got hit by a car yesterday so sitting with my leg up with some sort of knee damage. X-rays showed nothing. Still at my age I'm taking a chance walking. Maybe I'll get a replacement one.
Oh no!
Chappers! Do you think he read some of your puns?

Come on, he's feeling run down enough already.

Since I got my air conditioner, I don't even know when it's hot anymore. Oohhhh yeah.
Quote: Rob H @ August 20 2009, 12:32 AM BSTGood luck tomorrow Scats. And PhQnix as well. Hell, luck to everyone out there.
Quote: zooo @ August 20 2009, 12:33 AM BSTYes, good luck you two.
Why wish them luck now (well, last week)? Quite a bizarre practice. They needed luck a couple of months back when sitting their exams. F**k all they can do about it by August.
Quote: PhQnix @ August 20 2009, 12:50 AM BSTit's all boys so no one gets excited by it.
I'm sure that some do.

Duh. If I hadn't wished them luck they wouldn't have got all As!
Don't you know anything?
(What good would wishing them luck have been before the exams though? Wouldn't have made them be cleverer, or have done enough revision, or get better results. So it's arbitrary either way, is just the socially accepted way of showing good will.)
Quote: Scatterbrained Floozy @ August 20 2009, 11:25 AM BSTI'm so tired though from lack of sleep due to worry.
Silly girl. We told you!

Wishing good luck alerts God to their plight, and he reaches down with a helping hand to guide them along the path of correct answers.
(It's a f**king odd social convention, and one to which I refuse to conform. Wish them luck to actually get to the school at early o'clock without getting hit by a bus, sure, but with their actual exam results, pah!)
