It was just that, out of curiosity, I checked my welcome thread and found that I only had one (yes, one) welcome. And that was Aaron, and he talks to anybody.
Totally embarrassed by the feeble haul, I thought I'd get the begging bowl out. Not that I have a fragile ego, that was confiscated when I got into relationships 
And thank you all for the kind remarks. I should have nudged this 'un a few months ago when I was really low.
